In reality, there is no such thing as a perfect yoga body.
Yoga is for everybody, and every body is a yoga body.
It's common to think of inclusion as something that has to do with integrating others into our space. But instead, it starts from ourselves and our own level of awareness, openness, and understanding of the subject.
If Diversity is a fact, Inclusion is an action.

Welcome to Episode 16 of The Yoga Den Podcast.
Whatever you're thinking of doing, just start. Don't overthink it. Don't look too far ahead, just start.
And if you can just start, take a step every day, be consistent, you'll be surprised at the progress you make. But for a lot of us, we get into our own heads and are held hostage by our limiting beliefs.
And this is something I talk about with this week's guest, Aaron Tan. Aaron is a yoga teacher, podcaster and former copywriter in the ad world. I was pleased when Aaron agreed to come on the show and what was interesting about this conversation is that it went in a slightly different direction to what I had initially planned.
We talked about his trek in Nepal that ended with a blizzard, about teaching yoga, about life in the ad world, and we also talked about podcasting.
But we tied all of those things together to the subject of this week's PSA, just start. I'm sure you'll take some great lessons away from what Aaron has to say.

Humans are great storytellers. But sometimes the stories we tell ourselves end up hurting us more than helping.
Creating these narratives are perfectly natural — we do it all the time. The trouble comes when we're no longer aware of the stories and how they shape the way we feel, behave and understand the world around us.
Perhaps one of the most revealing episode I've done so far. Thank you Meiyan for opening up, sharing your experiences and creating a safe space everyone around you.

The problem with labels is that it limits us to whatever we decide to define as who we are. And it bounds us unintentionally to live or to be a certain way in order to maintain these expectations of yourself.
